Become a Volunteer

The RHSI Garden
Become a garden volunteer and get involved in our future.

Do you enjoy meeting people and learning new gardening skills, or just want to get out of the house and try something new? Whatever the reasons you may have for volunteering, we are sure you will enjoy every minute of it.

There are many ways you can get involved at the Garden:

  • Gardening
  • Recording
  • Labelling and more.

To become a volunteer you do not require any qualifications, but if you have horticultural experience and would like to pass on your knowledge or practical advice to others, there will be lots of fellow members anxious to learn from you. If you are just starting to garden then this is a place to learn.

Work Days

We will be in the walled garden from 11am to 3.30pm Wednesday and Saturday until late September. We would like to encourage as many volunteers as possible to join us.

Please bring your own garden tools, lunchbox and drink.
