The lecture will be at 4 pm on Saturday 25th August.

Robin Lane Fox is the weekly garden columnist of the
Financial Times (FT), a job he has done since 1970. His
most recent book is “Thoughtful Gardening”: a 2018
bestseller in its German edition and translation. He is an
Emeritus Fellow of New College Oxford where he has
taught classics and ancient history since 1977. He is also
Garden Master, running the College gardens, which attract
about 70,000 visitors each year, as well as his own two
acre garden in the Cotswolds. Much travelled, he visited
the high mountains of Kyrgyzstan on horseback in 2016 to
see its exceptional flora.
